When Jackson turned seven he started playing for the Southern Tier Admirals until he was twelve. This season Jackson is playing for the Niagara Falls Flyers and has been asked to be the team captain. Jackson is not taking his captaincy lightly. To be a great captain, you have to be a leader on and off the ice. Recognizing this responsibility of being a captain Jackson is working hard to improve his game. In the summer, Jackson enjoys playing baseball. Jackson plays baseball for the Niagara Falls Falcons. He has played for the GNBA Falcons since he was eight years old. He has won the team MVP and the teams sportsmanship award for his team in previous seasons. His baseball team won the Provincial championship this past season.

Jackson has been training with Matt Cain for 4 months at Niagara Orthopedic Institute (NOI). While Jackson is at NOI he focuses on improving speed, strength and agility. He also pushes himself when he is in the gym and enjoys going to work with Matt. He is very grateful to be able to go to NOI and has noticed an improvement in his hockey and baseball games.
