Registered Physiotherapist

Niagara Orthopaedic Institute is in search of a motivated Registered Physiotherapist to join our growing healthcare team!
Physiotherapist Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients through tests, movements, and conversation
- Create and implement treatment care plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Establish patient goals and benchmarks while reviewing progress
- Discuss patient’s goals and progress with physicians, surgeons, and the healthcare team
- Perform and teach manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises
- Document patient progress and treatment; record notes to update medical providers
Physiotherapist Requirements and Qualifications:
- Physiotherapy residents are welcome to apply
- Registration with good standing to practice Physiotherapy in the Province of Ontario
- Desire to work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals; able to mentor, lead and learn
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication
- Compassionate and sensitive to patients’ needs and concerns
- Evidence-based mindset with an emphasis on professional growth
- Able to perform CPR or additional emergency procedures if needed
